Elkhart School of Music is located in Elkhart, Indiana. Students drive from as far away as Warsaw and New Carlisle to take lessons here. We offer lessons for ages 4 to adult.
While you are here researching the best school for you, please consider the thirteen benefits of becoming an ESOM student and find out why we are Elkhart’s number one choice for music lessons.
1. Guitar, Voice, Singing, Piano, Drums, Percussion, Electric Bass, Violin, Viola, Trumpet, French Horn, Clarinet, Saxophone, Recorder, Flute, Rock Band Classes, Praise Band Classes, and Group Guitar Lessons in ONE location!
We are the only school in Michiana that offers all of these popular instruments: Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Voice, Singing, Piano, Drum set, Percussion, Electric Bass, Violin, Viola, Trumpet, French Horn, Clarinet, Saxophone, Recorder, Flute, Rock Band Classes, Praise Band Classes, and Group Guitar Lessons year round in one location.
2. Professional musicians and teachers make up our teaching staff.
All ESOM teachers either hold college degrees in music (sometimes multiple music degrees), have years of professional performance experience, or both. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. We are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson.
3. Music lesson times available six days a week!
We offer music lessons six days a week to accommodate your busy schedule.
2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Fridays
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. on Saturdays
4. A proven track record of excellence since 2006.
Every year, aspiring music teachers start their own studio, and a year or two later it’s closed. Elkhart School of Music has a proven track record of offering quality music lessons in Michiana year round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by over 1,000 families for over seven years.
5. A comfortable wait area for our clients.
we have a parent friendly waiting area with a coloring table/reading area for kids and fresh reading material and comfortable chairs for adults.
Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, our clients enjoy comfortable chairs, kids books, coloring books, and magazines. Parents are always welcome to sit in on their child’s lesson anytime they wish.
6. Fully stocked music lesson rooms!
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, full drum kits, pianos and more. All you need to bring is your instrument.
One of the things that sets us apart is our focus on providing lessons that are fresh, new, and engaging.
7. Music recitals!
Every parent wants to know how his child is doing. The best way for a parent to understand if his investment in lessons is really worth it is to have his child participate in a recital.
In December and June many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We hold these at prestigious auditoriums such as The Bristol Opera House.
For our students these recitals are unlike many schools in Michiana. There is always an “after party” with refreshments and, in approximately two weeks time, each performer receives a CD of the recital for their personal archives. Furthermore, since there is never an audience admission fee, family and friends can attend free of charge.
8. Professional office staff six days a week to serve you.
We are the only music school in Michiana that offers full time professional customer service for their students six days a week. We have office team members who are available to assist our clients quickly and professionally even when the school is closed. A competent, trained customer service representative answers phones from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. Monday through Saturday.
9. Trophies, certificates and award wristbands to celebrate achievement.
Starting in Spring 2015, we are giving our students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? Maybe. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
More importantly when our students have a test coming up, they will practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. You can only get the Musical Ladder here. We also specialize in music lessons for adults.
10. Books, Instruments, and Accessories.
We carry all books and materials that the student would need to supplement his lessons. No need to travel miles or wait for an Internet order.
ESOM sells music books, instruments and accessories. We stock all books and supplies that our teachers like to use in lessons for the student’s convenience. We also carry a large selection of new and used instruments.
11. Located in Downtown Elkhart.
Due to its central location, our school is convenient to all areas of Michiana. Close to our school, you will find great shopping and dining. We have many students from Elkhart, Osceola, Mishawaka, Granger, Goshen, Bristol, Bremen, Nappanee, Cassopolis, Edwardsburg, and South Bend. Some even travel from as far away as New Carlisle, and Warsaw.
12. Picture Day
We are the only music school in Michiana that offers a picture day for their students.
Starting in December 2014, we are hosting a picture day with a professional photographer. This is a service that our student’s parents will love as they all want quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.
13. Month to Month lessons.
ESOM requires a start up time of two full calendar months of lessons. After this requirement is met, every student is enrolled on a month-to-month basis.
If you are ready to start, give us a call! You have nothing to lose. We only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long-term contract.
